STM Group Launches Various Internal Working Groups, Supporting the ‘’One Team’’ Ethos
STM Group is pleased to announce its Internal Working Groups initiative, aimed at supporting the STM “internal customer” philosophy, and its related commitment to continuous improvement. The initiative is designed to ‘Supply The Means’ for future success, through increased employee involvement.
Through encouraging greater involvement of STM staff in some of the key issues affecting the business, it is also consistent with the organisational “Support Trust Manage” Values. Likewise, as the business emerges from the COVID 19 Pandemic (and the restrictions it has imposed), the establishment of effective Working Groups will ensure these key issues remain on the agenda, with successful outcomes being driven by all employees.
Working Groups are established in the following areas:
- Wellbeing (already established the STM Wellbeing Champion)
- Health & Safety
- Environmental & Sustainability
- Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion
- Voice of Women
- Employee Satisfaction
If successful in driving continuous improvement, the number of Groups may be increased to include different topics of interest. The company is currently recruiting volunteers, who wish to be a key factor to the driving force behind the future success of STM.
Under respective Champions, each Group will establish terms of reference, annual targets, and monitor progress through monthly workshops. Groups will consist of 5 or 6 personnel, supported by an Executive Sponsor (Management Operating Board Member), whose purpose will be to ensure all necessary support is available.
Arevika Stepanian (Head of Marketing & Communications at STM) will retain overall executive responsibility for this important initiative.
The company looks forward to seeing how this initiative develops, and the positive impact these key Working Groups will have on the overall culture of STM Group (UK) Ltd.
