Executive Chairman (Main Board)
Perry is the primary shareholder of STM Group, with over 20 years of experience in the UK security industry. Prior to being a start-up member of STM Security, in 2005, he was the MD of a UK security industry “Top Ten” organisation. Originally from New Zealand, he was a Military Logistics NZ Army Captain, as well as a rugby player of some note. Perry has been based in UK since 1996.
Chief Financial Officer (Main Board)
Michael has over 30 years of experience in finance. Joining STM in 2019 , his knowledge of, and expertise in, effective financial management has had a positive impact on the Group. He previously worked with both the CEO and Chairman. Michael is responsibile for all the financial aspects of the business, as well as overseeing HR and various other Group support functions.
Regional Director (London & South)
David Evans is a dynamic and versatile Senior Manager with extensive experience in the multinational oil and gas sector. Drawing from his background in Artificial Intelligence studies, his proven technical abilities and problem-solving skills have empowered a smooth transition into retail and facilities management roles. Currently, he serves as the Regional Director for London & South at STM Group UK Ltd., a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment. Among his notable accomplishments are the successful launch of the prestigious Elizabeth Line Central Operation Section, winning the Outstanding Security Contract Manager/Director of the Year at the OSPAs 2021, and the efficient mobilisation of Brexit freight custom checks at Eurotunnel. David brings a powerful blend of key strengths to his role, including interpersonal and influencing skills, people management, technical acumen, initiative, issue resolution, analytical thinking, and superior communication abilities.
Chief Operations Officer
Chris Gibbs is the Chief Operating Officer of STM Group Ltd. Prior to joining STM Group in 2018, Chris had a very successful career as director in other leading FM companies. He started his career serving in the armed forces for over a decade, gaining invaluable leadership and operational skills that he now applies to his role as COO. In his current position, Chris oversees STM's operations, driving growth and ensuring the successful execution of strategies. He holds an MBA, which has equipped him with robust business acumen. Outside of work, Chris is a dedicated family man and a keen marathon runner, demonstrating his commitment to a balanced high performance lifestyle. His strategic vision, coupled with his hands-on approach and military discipline, continue to guide STM Group towards industry leadership.
Director of Customer Experience
Having graduated from 3 international universities, as well as speaking 5 languages, Arevika is a marketing and customer care professional. Being both creative and innovative, Arevika oversees all STM Group marketing & communication and has a pivotal role in developing an effective strategy for all STM customers, using data, insights, and best practice, to better understand diverse customer profiles. She works closely with the Main Board on delivering a genuinely customer-centric approach, whilst helping bring new opportunities to the Group. Arevika is a Board Director for ED&I of ASIS International - UK, Member of the EDI Charter’s working group by Women in Rail and Railway Industry Association, amongst others, where she is the STM representative.
Non-Executive Director (Main Board)
Paul has an unrivalled track record of success within the contracted services industry. Passionate about continuous service improvement, Paul’s career in the security industry commenced in 1993 (prior to which he spent 11 years with the British Army). He, subsequently, successfully managed three of the Top Ten (Infologue) Security Companies, including leading an MBI of Pegasus Security Group. In addition to this, Paul was also awarded as IFSEC Global Influencer in Security and Fire 2021. Prior to joining STM, in 2019, Paul worked for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. As NED, he provides strategic advice.
Operations Director
With over 25 years of industry experience, Terry's primary role is to manage and enhance STM's organisational profile and performance. He has overall responsibility for UK-wide STM contract security operations, in which he is supported by a team of Regional Operations Managers. He brings a military background with 17 years of service and has been an integral part of STM since its inception in 2005. Terry boasts extensive security and operational experience, acquired through working across a broad spectrum of sectors, including Government, Rail, Corporate, Events, Retail, and Construction, among others. He is a natural leader who takes the lead in all contract mobilisations and service delivery activities. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in managing client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure that client expectations are consistently met across all STM contracts. Terry also oversees industry accreditations and focuses on staff development and well-being.
