Perry Simpson

Chairman (Main Board)

Perry is the primary shareholder of STM Group, with over 20 years of experience in the UK security industry. Prior to being a start-up member of STM Security, in 2005, he was the MD of a UK security industry “Top Ten” organisation. Originally from New Zealand, he was a Military Logistics NZ Army Captain, as well as a rugby player of some note. Perry has been based in UK since 1996. Perry is a non-executive Chairman.

Paul Jacomb

Chief Executive Officer (Main Board)

Paul has an unrivalled track record of success within the security services industry. Passionate about continuous service improvement, Paul’s career in the security industry commenced in 1993 (prior to which he spent 11 years with the British Army). He, subsequently, successfully managed three of the Top Ten (Infologue) Security Companies, including leading an MBO of Pegasus Security Group. Prior to joining STM, in 2019, Paul worked for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. As CEO, he has overall responsibility for the STM strategy.

Michael Dunn

Chief Financial Officer (Main Board)

Michael has over 30 years of experience in finance. Joining STM in 2019 , his knowledge of, and expertise in, effective financial management has had a positive impact on the Group. He previously worked with both the CEO and Chairman. Michael is responsibile for all the financial aspects of the business, as well as overseeing HR and various other Group support functions.

Terry Ketley

Operations Director

With over 15 years of industry experience, Terry’s primary function is to help improve organisational profile and performance. He has overall responsibility for UK-wide STM contract security operations, in which he is supported by a team of Regional Managers. Terry has a military background, and has previously worked with the senior STM Management Team.

Belinda Bishop

Quality & Compliance Director

Belinda has been with the STM Group for over 9 years. In her current role, Belinda ensures appropriate business processes are in place in order that STM delivers the highest of service delivery standards, whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Belinda works closely with clients, in order to ensure compliance, and the raising of quality standards. In her role, she also has responsibility for ensuring STM staff receive appropriate recognition, whilst being treated with fairness and equality.

Guy Young

Head of HR

Having been with STM Group for over 9 years, Guy is responsible for the STM People Value Proposition. This includes the promotion of an Internal/External Customer environment, whilst ensuring all employees are appropriately valued (as “internal customers”). Staff policies and processes, including consultation, and compliance with Employment Law all fall under Guy. He also oversees recruitment and vetting, whilst monitoring the new employee ‘aftercare’ service, through satisfaction measurement. Guy is a Chartered MCIPD.

Arevika Stepanian

Head of Marketing & Communications

Having graduated from 3 international universities, as well as speaking 4 languages, Arevika is a marketing professional. Being both creative and innovative, Arevika oversees all STM Group marketing & communication. She works closely with the Main Board in order to improve STM Brand recognition, whilst helping bring new opportunities to the Group. Arevika is member of ASIS International, Women in Rail, and ASIS Young Professionals Group, amongst others, where she is the STM representative.

Ricky Smith

Director of Events

With a military background, Ricky has over 20 years of industry experience, where he has lead security operations for some of the best known, global, luxury brands. He has significant experience in the formulation and implementation of Risk Management strategies for multinational companies, and individual celebrities, all over the world. This has included Red Carpet, VIP, Exhibitions, Conferences, Trade Fairs, and large Sporting Events. Ricky’s overall responsibility within STM Group is to procure and supply exceptional, qualified (DS), Events Staff, and to execute ‘Best-in-Class’ safety management principles in all activities.
