STM sign agreement to provide Customer Service staff to support London rail services
STM is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to provide Customer Service staff from 31st May 2015 to what will become one of the largest rail projects for 100 years. STM s staff will play a vital role supporting MTR Crossrail in the provision of high quality customer service and assistance for customers travelling between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, a route which TfL Rail take over from Abellio Greater Anglia on 31 May 2015 as the initial operational phase of what will ultimately become the Crossrail network.
STM is a UK-wide organisation providing security and customer service staffing solutions. Operating in a wide variety of different industries with particular specialism within the rail industry, STM prides itself on the quality and flexibility of its services with continual improvement at the core of its philosophy.
STM also hold a number of accreditations including the Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme (RSAS) which is overseen by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO). STM has held RSAS accreditation since 2009 and has extensive experience in high quality service delivery within the rail industry and in working closely with the British Transport Police.

Note to editors
TfL appointed MTR Crossrail as the operator of the Crossrail concession in July 2014. MTR will begin running TfL Rail-branded services between Liverpool St and Shenfield from 31 May 2015. Crossrail services will commence with the introduction of new trains in 2017 and then begin running services between: Heathrow and Paddington in May 2018; Paddington and Abbey Wood in December 2018; Paddington and Shenfield in May 2019 and; full through services (including to Reading) in December 2019.
